The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA) is designed to help adults along the journey to becoming full members of the Roman Catholic Church. A non-baptized adult begins the journey as a "catechumen" learning the basics of our faith and being led toward discerning his or her call to the Christian walk with God. Those baptized as non-Catholic Christians enter the process as a "candidate" for full inclusion into the Catholic Church. Those baptized as Catholics but who never received Confirmation and/or First Communion are also welcomed to travel the path toward full communion with their fellow Catholics. The participants in the RCIA process receive the required Sacraments of Initiation: Baptism, Confirmation and Eucharist, during the Easter Vigil Mass on Holy Saturday.

If you would like to learn more about the RCIA process or just have a question of two, please call the contact person listed at the left of this page.
