Holy Spirit Parish's "Higher Values for Youth," founded in 1998 - supports scholarships for youth in the Cathedral Deanery by an annual fund raising dinner and auction. Started by Msgr. Roger Lechner and Mr. James Martinez--with lots of help from volunteers-the Higher Values program has given scholarships to Catholic and Christian school high achieving students. The Higher Values are the Gospel Values which we teach and live here at Holy Spirit.

Higher Values has supported those who teach our youth, the teachers in the Cathedral Deanery. We have supported not only the teachers in the classroom, but the coaches on the sports field. We have also honored them with accolades and scholarships.

Scholarships are available to help support students attendance at a Catholic/Christian higher education school or university.

See http://www.highervaluesforyouth.org for more information.
